2,000 employees at Harro Höfliger

In the 49th year of the company's history, the number of employees reached 2,000 for the first time when electronics technician Timo S. joined the Web Converting Technologies division at the Backnang site. Working with special machines is a new field for him - but that was the decisive factor in his initiative to apply, he says: "There's one thing you don't get with custom-made machines: routine. Each system is unique and is designed, manufactured and assembled on an individual basis. This always brings new challenges and valuable experience. I'm also fascinated by the size and complexity of the machines I work on at Harro."

With the economic success in the pharmaceutical and medical technology sector, the number of employees has risen rapidly in recent years:In 2016, the mark of 1,000 employees was surpassed for the first time. Just eight years later, that number has doubled. "We are naturally proud of our continuous growth, especially when it comes to the number of employees. In many other industries, the trend is currently going in the opposite direction," says CHRO Uwe Amann. "We, on the other hand, are still looking for skilled workers and can offer our employees crisis-proof jobs and secure prospects for the future."
