Water sealing

Patent for perfect results

Sealing water-soluble film made of polyvinyl alcohol with water? That may sound like a contradiction, but it ensures very fine, homogeneous, and durable sealing seams. In our patented method, a print head applies water precisely to the polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) cover film, partially dissolving it. A drum then exactly seals the cover film onto the filled bottom film, with the seam quality verified inline by a camera system. This innovative method enables efficient production of packages of any contour.
