Harro Höfliger celebrates “Future since 1975”

In 1975, Harro Höfliger, a machine fitter by training, founded his one-man company of the same name for the general overhaul of used packaging machines. Five decades later, the company has more than 2,200 employees and has established itself worldwide as a provider of customised process and production solutions, primarily for the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries. Over the past 50 years, the company has continued to innovate and expand its product range to meet the changing needs of the market.

The areas of application for Harro machines are diverse and wide-ranging: for example, they assemble, fill and package inhalers and prefilled syringes, manufacture surgical sutures and complex wound dressings, produce contact lenses and precisely dose powders into hard capsules or blisters. In the consumer sector, the machine and technology portfolio covers all the processes involved in the production of portion packs for detergents and cleaning agents.

The jubilee year 2025 will provide an opportunity to look back regularly at the major milestones in the company's history. These include key product developments, strategic partnerships and the continued expansion of a global network.
