Vials and syringes
Vials and syringes are among the key primary containers for sterile drug products and biologics. At the same time, they place high demands on aseptic processing, process reliability and accuracy. The precise aseptic dosing of a wide range of drug formulations – including difficult‑to‑dose powders and liquids – into these containers is one of Harro Höfliger’s core competences.
Accordingly, the technologies are designed to account for product specific geometries as well as individual process requirements. Based on modular machine and line concepts, processes can be flexibly designed and scaled – from development and small batches through to commercial production.
The systems feature modern drive concepts, 100 % in‑process control (IPC), integrated closure technologies, as well as established barrier concepts such as oRABS, cRABS or isolators.

Infeed and processing concepts
Flexibly fed, reliably processed
Depending on the product and specific process requirements, Harro implements tailored infeed and processing concepts for the aseptic fill/finish of vials and syringes. Containers can be supplied via nested systems in tubs or as bulk goods, for example from bags or comparable containers. This approach ensures gentle handling combined with stable and reproducible process control.
