Harro Höfliger expands management structure

As part of a succession plan, Timo Graf assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on April 1, 2026. At the same time, the company created the position of Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to oversee sales management. Marco Laackmann has taken on this function as of April 1, 2026.

Timo Graf is taking over overall technological responsibility from Peter Claußnitzer, who has worked at Harro Höfliger for over 35 years and has served as CTO since 2006. Mr. Graf has been with the company for twelve years, most recently heading the Engineering and Technical Services division. In his new role, he will further develop the technology and development divisions, focusing on future viability and customer-specific value.

In the newly created CSO position, Marco Laackmann will focus on technology sales, systematically tapping into market potential and strengthening the company’s global sales organization. Thomas Weller has handled this task  in addition to his role as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) until now. Mr. Laackmann has worked at Harro Höfliger for 15 years. Most recently, he headed technology sales for the Pharmaceutical Technologies division. The Pharma Services division, which supports the development of processes for pharmaceutical products, will continue to report to Laackmann.

"We are systematically further developing the leadership structure at Harro Höfliger. With the new CSO role, we are strengthening the integration of sales, the market, and customers across all market segments," says Markus Höfliger, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Harro Höfliger.

"At the same time, this change in technological leadership ensures a stable transition and continuity in an area central to process solutions and mechanical engineering. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Peter Claußnitzer for his many years of service as CTO. He led the technology division with extraordinary expertise and foresight, playing a key role in shaping our company's long-term success.”
