Expanded capabilities for analytics and development
Harro Höfliger has opened an additional laboratory, further expanding its existing infrastructure with more space for analytical and development related activities.
At the heart of the new laboratory are four HPLC systems. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is an essential method for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of active ingredients and other components. The room is also designed for the safe handling of solvents, which play an important role in many analytical tasks. In addition, the technical setup enables work related to dosage testing in the inhalation area.
With the new space, Harro Höfliger’s Pharma Services now operate three laboratories with a total area of 175 m². This expansion increases overall capacity and supports the parallel execution of various analytical and development related tasks.
“The demand in these areas has been rising continuously for many years,” explains Dr. Elke Sternberger Rützel, Head of Pharma Services. “The additional space allows us to support these needs even more effectively.”
